Client: MEO Sudoeste
Year: 2017
This installation was ordered by the organization of the MSW Festival to the artist Gonçalo Condeixa, who after receiving this proposal decided to invite several people to help in its creation, myself being one of the people who was part of this team.
The installation was conceived with cylindrical straw bales that are rolled up in sewn bags of different colors, creating the idea of large balls of thread. The strips, as if they were a thread, are unraveling or unraveling, weaving the history of the festival. It is these giant skeins of twenty years of history that support plastic and written expression.
This work was carried out together with students and former students of Arts from Escola Secundária de Odemira and festivalgoers, thus enabling exchanges between the "different tribes.”
