Two of the containers attached to the Santa Casa stage in the MEO Sudoeste were intervened by a group of young artists composed of students from the Secondary School Dr. Manuel Candeias Gonçalves, users of the Association of Cerebral Palsy of Odemira and festivalgoers.
The theme "The shape of sound" as its name implies, aims to work plastically different sounds and musical rhythms. To this end we had as a reference and starting point the work of the artist Wassily Kandisky.
In this artist's work we can observe how he interprets the relationship found between music and painting. Thus, the challenge proposed to the workshop participants was to look at their work distilling it with the natural elements of the vegetation of the surrounding space, such as tree branches, leaves, soil textures, giving rhythm, color, movement and musicality to their compositions.
